a bit about me
I am an interactive designer and developer from Chicago. I first got into digital design in 1997 when I was introduced to digital photography and the wonders of photoshop. A year later, and endless hours of messing around with every filter photoshop had to offer, I got my first paid multimedia project: An interactive flash product tour for a tool and die company.
Since then, I have designed and developed all sorts of digital media. In spring of 2006, I turned a passion into a career and got a job at Imagination Publishing.
After 5 years with Imagination I decided to take on a new challenge and became a small business owner. On Sep 28, 2010, Two partners and I purchased a local snowboard, skateboard and surf-sup shop called Windward Sports and re-branded, re-modeled and re-invented it into Windward Boardshop.
I now live, work and wear many hats as a partner at Windward where I mainly control our marketing, online and inventory operational efforts. On the side I work as a freelance designer/developer and always love to tackle a fresh challenge.
